The Alliance Française school offers a variety of courses. Classes are designed to meet the needs of all students, from pre-scholars to CEO's, come to the Alliance Française with one simple goal: to learn French. Yet what they receive is much more than another language. They come to understand the spirit behind the French language and the people who speak it.

We insist on a low student-to-teacher ratio. So you can be sure of receiving individual attention and the best opportunities to immerse yourself in the French language and culture.

The Alliance Française is indeed a gathering place where you can meet new friends and make cordial acquaintances through "Le Petit Déjeuner", the "Bastille day celebration", etc.

We have a series of "Tables Française", each being a lunch followed by a lecture in French, the only one of its kind in Pittsburgh.
