YOU CAN ALWAYS REGISTER FOR A 1 TO 1 CLASS WITH A FRENCH NATIVE TEACHER.

$35 /HOUR   WITH A MINIMUM OF 5 HOURS due IN ADVANCE

*Group classes

Keep in mind that our group classes offer almost the same exposure than private classes since we have a very small number of students in each class… for ½ price!

As long as we can gather 3 students of the same level, free on the same evening, we are always ready to start a new class of any level.

Our classes meet from 6 to 8pm in the Cathedral of Learning at Pitt.

July classes

1- we can start a Beginners- group as soon as we gather three students or more . The class would meet on Thursday.

We have some on going groups that you may join after a short VERY informal interview by phone with Nicole or Helene our teachers

They will assess your level to see which class would be best for you.

-Intermediate Level

Wednesday 6-8 pm The group will start this coming July 16th.

You may join; you attend one class and observe. if you feel ok.

You sign up starting your payment from that first class you attended .

-Advanced group.

Tuesday 6-8pm

The June -July class is at 1/2 session. It is probably better to wait for next session in August/Sept

COST [membership + tuition + books]

- To take any class [private or group] you have to be a member of the A F

$25 /Full time student

$50 /person

$ 75 / family-couple

- TUITION =

- Our Language Group classes ( usually no more than 3 to 5 students) are $350

(for 20 hours / 10 sessions of 2 hours ; once a week)    [$380 for a 2 students class ]

($600 for a couple)

The price of a group class and almost as much attention as a private class!

$ 50- $55 -$60 for the 2 books [manual + Wkbk] depending of the level.

  The TUITION WILL GO UP to $380 /20 hours IN SEPT.

-a intermediate 1

-an Advanced 1 class

- particular interests and for now mostly ideas

-« Les Petits Babars » French for Toddlers

- Very little Babars = short Private classes

You would love your little one to be exposed to French as soon as possible?

We offer a program designed for toddlers from 18 months old and little ones up to 5 years old.

The experience has shown us that we have to opt for one to one classes for the VERY little ones [classes are SO hard to organize because on several kids, there is always one who is sick and can’t make it and it disorganizes everything.]

W e offer 1/2 hour Private class for $25 [longer is too long for kids]

[we have a policy of 24h notice-or it’s due, for class cancellation- ]

$250 is the 1/2 hour /a week tuition for 10 s essions

This is payable in advance and non refundable

+ kid mbshp of $ 25

- Little older Babars

If you child is between 5 and 8 they can more easily sit still for 1 hour

$450 is the 1h/week tuition for 10 sessions for the one to one classes

+ kid mbsp of $25 due only once a year

Now if you have 2 sibblings or more of the SAME level

Each pays $100 more only + same family kids mbshp of $50 (due only once a year)

Ex 2 sibblings= 450 + 100= 550 + 50= 600 for 10 hours

3 sibblings= 450 + 200= 650 + 50= 700 for 10 hours

If the siblings are not the same level we do not encourage the same class=

It will be the same price yet it is VERY difficult for the teacher to teach them both

So you’d have to use the $450 for each child at different time

In this case we would offer you a $50 discount for the 2 nd child

If we can have a class of more than 1 kid ; each family would pay the $450/10 sessions of 1 hour.

The teacher is Michele who has taught a similar class at PSU New Kensington for years. [Teachers , Act 48 credits are available!]

This is usually a private class for $35 /hour.

-Chantons ensemble---- Let’s sing French songs-Class!

A mixed levels 1hour and 1/2 class where songs of French singers will be studied, discussed and explained…. and then OUI pourquoi pas? sung by the class!

To help you relax so you do sing, wine will be served.

You would register for a minimum of 2 classes =$ 70 up to 8 classes =$550.

[ cost will cover the cost of the classes + wine.]
